Summary
In Malonno, Camonica Valley, the assembly of the Triduo machine is still taking place today. Original of 1771, the machine is composed of wooden elements and candles. Today religious value has almost completely replaced by social and cultural value. The film returns the intricate work performed by machine builders with an observational approach.
Andrea Grasselli (Brescia, 1986) studies Cinema at DAMS in Bologna and he specializes as Technician of audio-video production at APM of Saluzzo (Cuneo). He works as videomaker, he develops a pratical and theorical investigation about audiovisual languages. He produces and realises documentaries, art videos and videoclips. He lives and works between Torino, Milano, Bologna and Brescia.
